What
| Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 | | Title: Bill Wagner presents 'Real World C# 4.0' | C# 4.0 enables several new techniques that should become part of repertoire of solutions. The language team have given us named and default parameters, generic co-variance and contra-variance, and dynamic support. Each of these features targeted a specific problem, but all of them are useful in many other ways. In this session you’ll learn how using these features in the right way can help you create very elegant solutions that previously would have taken much more code, and likely been out of reach for most project budgets. In this session, I’ll provide some examples of the kinds of solutions you can now build and explain in less than an hour. | Speaker: Bill Wagner | With more than 20 years experience, Bill Wagner, SRT Solutions co-founder, is a recognized expert in software design and engineering, specializing in C#, .NET and the Azure platform. He serves as Michigan’s Regional Director for Microsoft and is a multi-year winner of Microsoft’s MVP award. An internationally recognized author, Bill has published three books on C# and currently writes a column on the Microsoft C# Developer Center. Bill was awarded the Emerging Technology Leader Award by Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology consortium. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |
